Welcome to module 1 of Paraprofessionals in the Schools! This is our foundational training course for new and experienced paraprofessionals alike. In this module, we start by examining the foundational elements of professionalism essential for any paraprofessional and review the legal and regulatory framework that governs all school personnel.
From there, we’ll explore strategies for providing Individual and Small Group Instruction and Assistance, learn foundational strategies for Behavior Modification, and examine the importance of building Positive Relationships with students, teachers, and staff.
